The hours with Sudhir Tiwari offer an authentic, in-depth training in rigorous Pranayama rooted in ancient yogic scriptures and the Kaivalyadhama lineage. The program explores the definition, techniques (including variations), and effects of Pranayama, integrating insights from Ayurveda and modern scientific research. Participants receive traditional instruction grounded in the philosophy of Patanjali’s Ashtanga Yoga, combined with evidence-based understanding.
Sudhir Tiwari, trained from childhood at Kaivalyadhama Yoga Institute and mentored by masters including Swami Kuvalayananda and Shri O. P. Tiwari, continues this distinguished tradition. Now director of Kaivalyadhama in Canada, he shares his global expertise in yoga, meditation, chanting, and Ayurveda, supported by both traditional lineage training and academic credentials. Founded in 1924, Kaivalyadhama remains one of the world’s pioneering yoga institutes, renowned for uniting classical yogic wisdom with scientific research to promote holistic wellbeing worldwide.

The hours with renowned restorative teacher, Lizzi Lasater, offers an immersive exploration of slowing down, cultivating stillness, and deepening awareness of the body and mind. By reducing stimulation to the nervous system, you’ll learn to reconnect with your intuition, enhance focus, and support holistic healing for yourself and others. The program covers theory, alignment, sequencing, and energetics, emphasizing a minimalist, mindful approach—less distraction, fewer poses, more space and silence. Yin Yoga is a quiet practice of resistance in a culture of constant doing. In our fast-paced lives, choosing to slow down, to contemplate, and to rest in stillness can be a radical act. Rooted in Daoist philosophy, Yin Yoga invites us to hold life’s paradoxes — strength and softness, activity and rest — not as opposites, but as partners within a greater whole. Through sustained, mindful practice, we begin to embody this truth in our tissues, breath, and awareness. Rather than striving to improve or perfect ourselves, we learn to meet what is already here, allowing harmony to emerge naturally. This training is an invitation to explore that emergence and cultivate a relationship to practice that is gentle, honest, and sustainable.
