Flexible & Hybrid format
The objective of the 300 hour training is to build upon the first training by confirming your capabilities in teaching the primary series (especially to beginner’s and more advanced practitioners), initiate you into the intermediate series, explore asanas that don’t necessarily appear in Ashtanga so that you can design fun and creative workshops or vinyasa flow classes and to delve deeper into the subtler parts of yoga.
In short the intermediate training is to continue your growth as a yoga practitioner, a teacher and a balanced human being!
You must have previously completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training
It is recommended to have completed this training with Ashtanga Yoga Paris. If not, the 200-hour training must be based on the Ashtanga system, or you must have completed at least 250 hours of Ashtanga practice or 500 hours in another yoga style
The 300-hour Teacher Training is designed for practitioners wishing to continue their development beyond foundational teacher training.
It is intended for:
Certified yoga teachers seeking to deepen their teaching skills
Experienced practitioners committed to long-term personal practice
Professionals in movement, sports, or body-based disciplines
Practitioners looking for a progressive, non-intensive advanced training pathway
The objective of the 300-hour training is to build upon the foundations of the 200-hour training by deepening both practice and teaching over time.
Throughout the training, participants will:
Enter or refine the Intermediate Series of Ashtanga Yoga
Develop precision in teaching beginners and more advanced practitioners
Refine teaching of the Primary Series, including key “roadblock” postures
Deepen applied anatomical understanding for yoga practice and teaching
Explore the subtle body and the chakra system
Develop a meditation practice and deepen understanding of yoga philosophy, including the Yoga Sutras of Patañjali and the Bhagavad Gita
Refine hands-on adjustment, observation, and communication skills
Continue exploration of pranayama and kriya practices
The 300-hour training is offered in a hybrid and modular format, combining:
In-person workshops and intensives with Linda Munro and Gérald Disse
Selected workshops with invited international teachers (such as Chuck Miller, David Swenson, David Keil, or Lizzie Lasater)
Online training modules hosted on the Ashtanga Yoga Paris Academy platform
Personal practice, written work, and guided reflection
You have up to three years (with the possibility to extend to five) to complete the required hours, allowing you to adapt the training to your personal and professional life.
Teaching is primarily in English.
The training is accessible to people with disabilities, except in cases of severe motor impairment. Please contact us so we can assess together the feasibility of participation based on individual needs.
Assessment: Continuous assessment throughout the training and final evaluations
Certification: A training attestation and certificate of completion are issued once all assessments are validated, including the completion of 40 teaching assistances and 40 classes attended*
* At Ashtanga Yoga Paris, we believe that nothing replaces real-life teaching experience. This training includes teaching assistances, during which you will assist our teachers in regular weekly classes, as well as classes to attend as a student. This dual role allows you to grow both as a practitioner and as a teacher.
The training takes place over 3 to 5 years. We deliberately favour this long-term, flexible format over a short, intensive programme, for two main reasons:
Undertaking a 300+ hour yoga teacher training should reflect a genuine personal commitment. At Ashtanga Yoga Paris, we are deeply committed to training teachers who are invested in both their personal practice and their teaching. Too many trainings today aim to fast-track certification to 500 hours after only a few months of practice and teaching. This is not the approach we wish to promote. We want each graduate of our programme to be recognised by their peers as a serious, high-quality teacher.
This format allows you to adapt the training to your personal and professional life, without having to take one or two months off work at a time.
As a bonus: you will have access to our growing library of online courses on the Ashtanga Yoga Paris Academy platform for a duration on 5 years.
We offer two payment options for registration in the 300+ hour training program:
Option 1
€800 due at registration to confirm enrolment
Additional module registration fees are paid throughout the 3 years of training (with up to 2 additional years optional)
The total cost of the training varies depending on the modules selected
Option 2
€5,000 total (maximum €16.66 per hour)
Payable in one instalment at registration, or in 3 instalments spread over the 3 years, as follows:
Year 1: Administrative registration (€200) + €1,800
Year 2: €1,800
Year 3: €1,200
In the case of external funding (France Travail, an OPCO, a company, or an institution—non-exhaustive list), only Option 2 (€5,000) is available, payable over 1 or 3 years.
All prices listed above are VAT included. Net prices are identical, as the training is VAT-exempt (Article 261-4-4a of the French Tax Code).
Registration is confirmed once the required payment has been made:
€800 / €1,800 or €5,000, depending on the option selected
Payment is made by bank transfer only, and the amount must be paid before the start date of the first module.
In-person:
Gérald and Linda teach a minimum of 90 hours of qualifying workshops per year.
We also host guest teachers yearly.
Specific content varies from year to year. Please refer to the calendar or contact us for details.
Online:
You can take any course on our online platform, and as many as you wish, but only a maximum of 100 hours may qualify towards the 300 total hours.
Most workshops and manuals are in English.
We call this training a flexible and hybrid format because you have 3 years (+2 optional) to complete the required hours through various intensive courses with Linda and Gerald, in person and online.
